Shall we continue?

"Later," I meowed and continued on, enjoy the crisp morning air. Morning strolls were always the best after all.

Goldenstripe soon found the scent of a mouse. He crouched down, low to the ground and suddenly leapt. He stunned the mouse with his awry paw and quickly killed it.

(I'm just going to have to ruin this peaceful morning...)

I calmly stopped to scent the air, maybe I should catch a vole or something while I was out here. Instead of the scent of prey, I could smell the heavy scent of badger. Was it the badger Goldenstripe chased off last time? I continued to sniff the air, it was really close, I should probably inform the Clan of this.

(Of course you would. XD)

Goldenstripe buried his mouse and suddenly a heavy scent flooded over him. A badger was nearby along with a cat's scent...
Russetdawn!

(Mwahaha)

I glanced around while slowly backing away, a loud rustling coming from a bush ahead. A long snout pocked out of the bush, fresh claw marks from the last fight covering it. I gulped as the badger's head appeared, it's beady black eyes blinking at me.

Goldenstripe hurriedly ran through the forest.

I hissed angrily at the badger as it lumbered out of the bush, I took a step back when it took a step forward, trying to keep the distance between us. "Stay away, you mouse-brained beast!" I hissed as it continued to advance. I bumped into a tree and crouched down as the badger loomed in front of me. I closed my eyes as it raised it's front paw, and slammed it down on me.

"Russetdawn!" Goldenstripe yowled. He leapt on the badger's head and slashed his claws across it's eyes. He bit it's ear and used his back claws to slash it's throat. The badger let out a roar and left, but not before Goldenstripe could jump off. He rushed to his Clanmate. "Russetdawn?"

The badger's claws slammed into my side and sent me flying.. I howled painfully, right when Goldenstripe appeared. After he chased it of he rushed to my side and asked if I was alright. "I've felt better," I moaned.

"Can you get up?" Goldenstripe asked and nosed her head.

"Maybe," I slowly struggled up, my legs shacking slightly. The side where the badger had struck, bleeding heavily.

"Let me help you," Goldenstripe meowed and let her lean on his shoulder.

"Thanks," I panted

"No problem," Goldenstripe meowed. Russetdawns' blood was getting on his golden tabby fur, but he didn't care. All that he cared about was getting Russetdawn to camp.

She was starting to get dizzy from blood loss when they finally returned to the Clan camp.

He dragged her into the medicine cat's den, but they weren't there.
"What happened?" Cragjumper asked.
"A badger attacked," Goldenstripe meowed. "Where are the medicine cats?"
"Not here, but I think I remember a few herbs from Pebblepaw," Cragjumper meoewd. He disappeared and came back with comfrey root, marigold and cobwebs and applied them to Russetdawn. "I think that should work."
"Thinks?!?!?" Goldenstripe asked.

I was half conscious, and I could feel the pain subdue slightly. My eyes were growing heavy, and I had no strength to fight it. I then fell into unconsciousness.

"Russetdawn? Russetdawn!" Goldenstripe yowled.
"Calm down, Goldenstripe!" Cragjumper sighed. "The wounds have stopped bleeding and she's just resting. I'll watch over her today."
"Alright..." Goldenstripe sighe.d

I continued to sleep

(SLEEP SLEEP SLEEP)

I was now dreaming I was standing in the middle of a field, the warm sunlight glimmering down on me welcomingly. I saw movement in the corner of my eye and turned to face it. A smile lit my face when I saw who it was. "Hawktalon!"

(SLEEP SLEEP SLEEP)

Goldenstripe decided to sleep, so he did. In his dream, he was on the edge of a cliff and next to him was a white she-cat. "Snowfall!" he chirped.

"I can't stay long," Hawktalon meowed and he rubbed his check against mine. "But I just wanted to answer your question that you asked me."
I froze, my heart starting to beat faster.
"I love you Russetdawn, but I'm dead now so please promise you'll get over me," Hawktalon meowed.

(DUN DUN DUNNN!!!!!)

"Snowfall!" Goldenstripe purred as the two cats touched noses. "What are you doing here?"
"Can't I say hello to my living son?" Snowfall purred as she gave her son a lick on the ear.
"Snowfall...will Russetdawn be alright?" Goldenstripe asked.
"Yes, she will, Goldenstripe," Snowfall meowed. "It's not her time yet."
"It's just so good to see you," Goldenstripe breathed.
